Kiddie Academy of Bethpage

Bullied into taking down an honest review… At first we loved it - good teachers and close to bethpage LIRR. However we withdrew our 3 children based on admin issues with new staff (inconsistent policies and COVID communication, overcharged us twice, daily updates in the parent communication app were incorrect). My wife posted a review outlining the issues we discussed with the owner to help other parents.  When we posted it, my youngest still had 2 weeks left because his new daycare had a wait list. The owner called my wife almost immediately at 5pm, voice raised with the ultimatum (Kiddie Academy Director's exact word) that she remove the review or my son could not attend his last 2 weeks even though it was prepaid and we had a contract. The unprofessionalism and ultimatum continued in person (in front of my 5 and 7 year old). With zero notice, we had no option but to remove the review so they would honor their contract for the last 2 weeks. Parents please be wary. EDIT (response to owners message): Concerns were not addressed and we did remove all 3 children as soon as possible. With their ultimatum we asked about the contract and pre-payment. The reply was “I will write you a personal check since your son is not welcome back with that review up”. As working parents with zero notice, we were forced to succumb to the threat so they would honor our contract and provide the prepaid 2 weeks of childcare. It is unfortunate this is how management is run, as the teachers are good.

Mrs Stacy the director was amazing about helping us figure out the best plan for our child’s daycare needs, very kind and friendly! All of her staff has been so kind and caring to our children. We are so happy with our choice of kiddy acadamy

My family is beyond happy with the educational child care services that are being provided. My daughter whom is 3 years old is coming home with new information learned everyday. She can count to 20 in Spanish and knows all her colors in Spanish as well. Every week she learns a new letter and number with crafts associated with them. She is learning so much, and we can't thank her teachers enough! My son who just turned 1 is also in wonderful hands. He is progressing nicely and I know he is loved throughout the day.

As a child care learning center I must say that Kiddie Academy of Bethpage is very attentive to my child’s needs. Overall the cleanliness and staff makes it a great environment for my child to spend his days. I feel secure when I leave my son to go to work that he is learning while also enjoying it as well. This facility is very accommodating, clean, and the teacher and staff are amazing. We LOVE Kiddie Academy of Bethpage!!!

Do NOT trust this facility with your children. I chose kiddie academy for two of my kids. The first day I dropped them off ...I was worried about them so I called a couple of times but the manager reassured me that my kids were fine (which I later found out they were not) My son fell asleep after crying continuously for 4 hours...(and the manager said he stopped crying when I called the 2nd time to find out) he did not eat anything he was there for 8 hours. They didn't tell me that either. My daughter whose 5 was kept in their gym the entire time. I mean seriously I know it's a summer camp but How do u keep kids comfortable in a gym for 8 hrs? Then the next time I dropped them off my son did not want to stay the teacher said to close the door and leave she will take care of him...i could hear him screaming and crying even when I went outside their building so I went back to check on him and I look through the glass window on the door and he was banging his head on the door and trying to open it and the teacher totally ignored him. I cannot imagine what kind of employees they hire...they DO NOT have proper training...she was supposed to calm him down and take care of him instead of just letting him cry and hurt himself...so I decided to bring my kids back spoke to the manager they refused to return $ back it was $800 she said I have to give 2 weeks notice...how do I give a two weeks notice when the kids weren't being taken care of? She refused to return my security deposit and that weeks tuition... This is the worst place please do NOT trust them with your kids...and they serve disgusting food! Would never feed my kids what they are feeding them there...I am going to take action against this place for the way they treated my kids!
